I thought Maine Hunting Shoes and Bean Boots were two names for the same thing. If I recall correctly Maine Hunting Shoe was LLs the man original nomenclature and in the old days the catalog lumped all the rubber leather footwear into the Maine Hunting Shoe category whether they were the rubber moccasins or the 16 high tops.
